Wednesday 16th April - Wednesday 2nd July 2025 (11 sessions) Castlegate Theatre Company (CTC) is Aberdeen Arts Centres youth theatre company. They have worked over the years on performances of musical theatre, and premiered a brand new musical, The New Kid, in 2023. In this pioneering spirit, we are developing a brand-new direction for this group and turning our focus for this performance group to the unexpected, the unusual and the innovative. For 2025, CTC will be developing skills in Street Theatre and we will be preparing for Street Theatre performances during Tall Ships 2025. Leah, our CTC tutor, has brilliant and varied experience in performance, devising and directing. Leah is currently an Artist in Residence with Surge, a Scottish organisation that runs projects to develop street arts, physical theatre and circus in Scotland. CTC will be exploring what performance can be within and outside a traditional theatre building. The work will be exciting, innovative, challenging and lots of fun.
