The Elysian Singers perform Will Todds haunting Requiem for soprano, choir, and electric guitar. The Elysian Singers is one of the UKs leading chamber choirs. Founded in 1986, the group quickly developed an interest in contemporary music, giving world premieres by contemporary composers including Sir John Tavener, who was the choirs patron until his death in 2013. The group is now privileged to have Sir James MacMillan as the choirs patron and in 2019 released a second CD of his music, One Equal Music , receiving a 5-star rating in Choir and Organ and the accolade of "first among equals" in Gramophone .
