Lutes of the Silk Road perform music, ancient and modern, solo and ensemble, from many lands: Cheng yu (pipa), Shohret Nur, (Uyghur Dutar, Rawap and Satar), Sabine Masters, (Kazakh Dombra), Ahmet Ozan Baysal (Turkish Saz), Nike Kabanas (oud), with Johan Lofving (theorbo) and Antonio Romero (percussion). With pre-concert talks on the instruments, from 2 pm.
