The next instalment of the fantastic FREE stand-up comedy open mic at Jimmy’s under Park bar will be on Thursday 8th June, and all are welcome to either watch or perform. Featuring a mix of seasoned pros trying out new material, first timers taking to the stage, and everyone in between, open mics are always fun, full of ups and downs and a sense that anything could happen. Your host will be award-losing comedian Charlie Wallace. Starting his career on the English language Asia comedy circuit, he has performed extensively in China and Vietnam, as well as Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and once in Eqypt. Over his six year stand-up career he’s opened shows for Ardal O’Hanlon, Glenn Wool, Phil Kay, Martin Mor and Greg Fleet to name but a few. Now based in Glasgow, he runs Comedy Dundee, Dundee’s most imaginatively named comedy club, as well as Jesters Comedy in Glasgow. "A natural born comedy mind. Funny. Odd.
