Part of Manchester Folk Festival 2023. Through a partnership between Manchester Folk Festival and Music PEI, Lizzy Hardingham has been working with Canadian artist Joce Reyome in a very special pan-Atlantic project. Following time spent together in Prince Edward Island and in Manchester, this concert will be a chance to hear some of the music from two wonderfully talented singer-songwriters. Lizzy Hardingham Folk infused singer-songwriter, Lizzy Hardingham performs songs for the heart, from the heart; giving audiences a chance for genuine connection and empathy. Her exhilarating voice grabs the listener from the first note and holds on until the last. Think Christine Collister, Joni Mitchell, Sandy Denny and KT Tunstall in one. Joce Reyome Joce Reyome has been captivating audiences with their dynamic performances on stages throughout the east coast of Canada, where they now call home. They have won MusicPEI's 2022 Entertainer of the Year and was nominated for a multitude of others including New Artist of the Year and Musician of the Year. Joce infuses a classic blues sound with raw vocals and a new perspective while staying true to their singer/songwriter roots. With inspiration from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, and Tracy Chapman, they dont hold back when they step onto the stage. Venue Access - The whole venue is on one level, but there is a single step at the front of the building. A portable ramp is available if required. There is no accessible toilet, but customers are welcome to use the accessible toilet at Gullivers across the road if needed. There isnt a dedicated lowered bar area, but customers who may require one are welcome to use the side entrance of the bar (normally marked no service), and our staff will come and serve you from there. Events may be seated or standing, but chairs are always available on request and we will place these at the front of the venue so that you have a clear view of the stage.
