The LadyBoys Of Bangkok cabaret review: Glittering madness
The cabaret classic is maintaining is fabulous reputation in this latest return to Adelaide
If glitter could explode, it would look like The LadyBoys Of Bangkok. This is not a show you simply watch: it is a show you surrender to. From the first beat, the stage bursts into colour, chaos and confidence. Costumes appear and disappear in seconds. Heels defy gravity. Wigs get higher. The choreography is razor sharp one moment and deliciously cheeky the next. Blink and you miss a reveal. Blink twice and the entire stage transforms.
The soundtrack is a joyous rollercoaster. When ‘Dancing Queen’ hits, the whole room becomes a disco.
