3 To See at the Fringe: Comedy

A trio of comics here who have two productions this Fringe: one for the grown-ups and these shows aimed directly at the little ones. By his own admission, award-winning Olaf Falafel (Laughing Horse Counting House, 6–30 August, 11.30am) delivers pretty stupid shows. This hour, he claims, is the most stupid one yet. Strap in. Silent clown and juggler Darryl J Carrington (Underbelly George Square, 5–31 August, 1.20pm) is Out Of The Box as he delivers a raucous toothbrush-wielding finale. There are a few things we’ve come to expect with shows by Spencer Jones (Pleasance Courtyard, 7–16 August, 11am) and they’re here by the bucketload for his Experimental Kids Show: daft music, surreal props and wild energy. Tick, tick and, indeed, tick.
