AC/DC to perform in Edinburgh this summer: How to get tickets

AC/DC have announced they will perform at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium this August. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10am on Friday 7 February.

The show, which comes as part of a larger tour of the US and Europe, will mark 50 years of the band’s long reign as the hard rocker’s stadium act of choice, with Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and Chris Chaney on bass making a triumphant return.

Dubbed the Power Up tour after their latest studio album, fans can expect a handful of new songs sprinkled throughout DC’s classics, proof that the band remain a little bit more than a heritage act.

This’ll be the first time Young & co have hit Scotland in more than a decade, and (so far) is their only UK tour date.

But when your heroes are rock legends, there is no need to fear – it really doesn’t get much better than AC/DC live.’ Read the full review
