This vibrant, electric celebration of Latin American culture glistens with sparkly costumes and mesmerising feats
The ultimate afternoon pick-me-up, Superbowl Salsa is a treat for the senses. Combining live renditions of famous Latin American songs with the history of salsa, bachata and reggaeton, plus the high-octane antics of actual Super Bowl performers, makes for a lively and accessible glimpse of Colombian sunshine at the top of The Mound. Ranging across the invention of fast-paced salsa caleña in hotel lobbies, the love story of world champion dancers and Bad Bunny’s recent half-time performance, the cast’s flamboyance, vocals, incredible athleticism and eagerness to share their culture are impressive.
As dancers in tiny sparkling costumes are flipped and flung across the stage, it’s easy to imagine them lighting up the crowd in a Super Bowl stadium.
