Orbit Culture burst out of the underground scene with the release of 2020’s Nija album, which garnered worldwide critical acclaim from critics and metal fans alike. Their latest release, Shaman, sees them further expand upon their dynamic sound, developing a propulsive blend of metallic brilliance. While rooted in the classic Swedish metal genre paved by greats such as At The Gates, In Flames, and Meshuggah, they creatively expand upon it to create a more evolved, modernized sound that is simply undeniable. Shaman delivers on all fronts and showcases the band’s seamless efforts to effectively blend aggression, melody, and technicality. The band states: "When it comes to the music, Shaman has a bit more flow to be executed more in a live setting, which was one of the goals creating it. We have some songs on Nija that we’d like to play live, but some of them just don't quite translate as well as we want them to when we play them. We want to be a band able to run around the stage and invite people to the show and connect that way, rather than standing in one place and sweating over weird guitar patterns and whatnot. We think that’s the major difference between Nija to Shaman. We want people to be blown away live and the songs on this EP are constructed for that. 14 and 15 year old’s must be accompanied by an adult .

Our Man In The Field

Our Man In The Field

4 Nov 2025 - 6 Nov 2025

Our Man In The Field is UK singer/songwriter and actor Alex Ellis, with assistance from a band that includes Henry Senior (pedal steel, dobro), Greg Bishop (drums, harmonies), Raul Biancardi (synth) and Luke Ydstie (bass). Plying a winning combination of indie-folk and Americana with significant soulful country vibes that nods to the likes of Ray LaMontagne, Damien Rice, Wilco, Ryan Adams and Lambchop, OMITF issued a well received debut album, The Company Of Strangers, in 2020 and wowed audiences promoting it when guesting for the likes of The Delines, playing festival dates and touring in their own right. The first single from the album is Last Dance, which is built from a sonic template that recalls Hiss Golden Messenger (who recently had an album mixed by Martine), while Ellis relates a tale of witnessing the traumatic split of personal friends following an infidelity. One requests a quiet departure from the relationship (If you're leaving in the morning / Go before the sun comes up), while the guilty party requests a shot at redemption (If you're leaving in the morning / Can I have one last dance). The emotional push and pull of the lyric is offset by the song's bright, upbeat feel, embellished with a country fiddle melody and oscillating synth line over a groovy backbeat and Ellis' warm vocal timbre.

Kyle Falconer (The View)

Kyle Falconer (The View)

10 Sept 2025 - 5 Oct 2025

Kyle Falconer has always been a songwriter who has been inspired by a female muse. From his chart-topping success with The View through to his acclaimed solo career, his storytelling songs have explored the good times of love and lust; the bad times of regret and heartache; and stories of some of the larger-than-life characters who have stepped into his life, alongside some playful fictional narratives. Recently crowned with the King Tuts Songwriting Award at the Scottish Music Awards, Kyle brings the best of those songs together with The One I Love The Most which will be released on February 7th ahead of Valentines Day. The album is a collection of songs from his vast back catalogue, all of which are named after women and have been newly reworked in acoustic form. Named after a lyric taken from The View fan favourite 5 Rebeccas, The One I Love The Most features songs spanning almost two decades: from the unrequited love of Claudia (from the bands #1 debut album Hats Off To The Buskers) through to the lovelorn Dixie (the original of which featured on last years Top 10 return Exorcism of Youth). Along the way, the album also reinvents highlights from his two solo albums No Thank You and No Love Songs For Laura, which often tackled more complicated themes: Laura shares regrets for his past behaviour and the impact it had on his then-partner and now-wife Laura Wilde, to the issues of gender identity addressed in Kelly. A far lighter moment comes with Madonna, a playful, celeb-heavy imagining of what the ideal afterlife might be like, while Manchester rapper PROSE adds his razor-sharp rhymes to an otherwise stripped-back Lucy. The albums lead single and brand new track Angelina is an instant highlight and will be unveiled on December 20th. Dramatic percussion and sweeping string arrangements creates an intense cinematic atmosphere to match a story of a relationship which has been ruined by conflicting perceptions on what the truth really is.

Dylan Flynn and the Dead Poets

11 Nov 2025 - 15 Nov 2025

Dylan Flynn & The Dead Poets make songs that come from the heart. The Limerick group are aiming for pure communication surging Indie-Rock that comes with a pop openness, their widescreen yet down-to-earth musicality has a viral appeal, yet remains DIY in origin. 2024 saw the band self-produce and release their new album and take on their biggest shows to date selling-out rooms across the UK & Ireland. 2 Mil streams later, support slots with the likes of NewDad, The Darkness & Kingfishr, and a recent appearance at SXSW in Austin, has shown that these lads are ones to watch for 2025. At times they recall the buster of The War On Drugs, or the vitality carried by Gang Of Youths; theres a nod to Radioheads raw emotion, or Springsteens surging passion with their songs speaking to twenty-somethings living in a country that completely ignores them. Over the last few months, the band have garnered a hype around them that is hard to ignore. Tracks from last year saw them land spins on BBC NI, Radio X, RTE 2FM, while also being featured in blogs such as Clash Magazine, The Thin Air, Hot Press. Part of a wave of energy within Irish music, the band have been nurtured within a close-knit creative community - yet are unafraid to speak with a singular voice. Clash - a real sense of maturation and evolution. Gemma Bradley (BBC) Im absolutely obsessed. Hot Press - "Every time I see this band live, I forget how spine-tinglingly fantastic they are." Geese

Geese

20 Mar 2026 - 25 Mar 2026

Geese is a band that begins and ends in Brooklyn, as a project between friends to build a home studio out of a basement. Their songs are born from the same ambition: make music by any means necessary. They began recording together with sneakers as mic stands and blankets draped over the amps, all within the afternoon following a school day, up until they ran the risk of noise complaints. As of their recent signing with Partisan Records, they are thinking about moving on from sneaker-laden mics and blanketed amps, but their musical ethos has not changed a bit. Curiously alien, yet strangely familiar, the band’s new material is a product of five teenagers whose love of music touches every part of their lives: their restless anxiety about their futures, and their pent-up frustration with their present-a perspective all too familiar in today’s uncertain world.

EDEN, born Jonathon Ng in Dublin, Ireland, is an artist who defies traditional genre boundaries, blending electronic, indie, and alternative elements into a deeply personal soundscape. Emerging from the digital underground in the mid-2010s, EDEN first gained traction through self-released EPs End Credits (2015) and i think you think too much of me(2016), which collectively reached almost one billion streams worldwide and started to garner mass popularity for him in the scene. His music, characterized by atmospheric textures, glitchy beats, and layered vocals, often explores themes of identity, mental health, and the complexities of modern life like in his debut album, vertigo (2018), which was lauded for its raw, introspective lyrics and innovative production. As he continues to evolve, EDEN remains a unique force in contemporary music, challenging listeners to engage with his art on a deeper, more emotional level moving into his latest project Dark (2025) set to release this coming summer. The project displays a newly found optimism with the idea that some things that feel so intense are out of your hands, and the only way to live with it is to take the weight off your shoulders and find the beauty around you. A long awaited finale unfolding, Dark holds an early 2020’s border-less inspiration, effervescently smashing and cutting into itself leaving behind only a moment’s memory.
