Cast

13 Jun 2025 - 5 Dec 2025

Originally formed in 1992 from the ashes of The La’s and Shack, Cast released four albums and had ten top 10 singles before disbanding in 2001. As one of the most traditional guitar bands to emerge during the Brit-pop era of the mid-'90s, Cast have carved out a sound that was heavily indebted to the British Invasion of the early '60s, yet it was infused with a mystical, pseudo-hippie lyrical sensibility, which lead singer John Power expanded upon in all of his interviews. What really made Cast into a success was Power's gift for simple, classic pop hooks, as demonstrated on the hit singles "Fine Time," "Alright," and "Walkaway." Cast became a very, very popular band within Britain following the success of Oasis and Blur. Labelled ‘The Who of the 90’s’, Noel Gallagher once described watching Cast play live as “a religious experience.”

Founded in 1988 by Alex Paterson and The KLF member Jimmy Cauty, membership of The Orb has been fluid over the years, with Paterson remaining the only constant throughout. Thee Oh Sees

Thee Oh Sees

16 Jun 2025 - 25 Jun 2025

With a stage show that's best described as sweat-drenched and a long list of albums sporting their trademark unhinged approach, Thee Oh Sees are one of the most invigorating garage punk bands of their era. Led by guitarist/vocalist John Dwyer, whose guitar sound and brutally powerful way of playing are instantly identifiable, the group went through a series of changes that led them from clanging lo-fi garage experimentalism on albums like their 2007 debut, Sucks Blood, to weirdo psych-pop on 2011's Castlemania and almost slick garage punk on 2014's Drop. After that album, Dwyer expanded the band's sonic reach to include proto-metal, dark psych, and trippy prog.

The Reytons

The Reytons

19 Jul 2025 - 19 Jul 2025

Harbouring the clatter, clamour and camaraderie of a night out fuelled by cheap vodka Red Bulls and questionable decision making, South Yorkshire four-piece The Reytons need little introduction – you’ll hear them coming a mile off. Armed with little more than their instruments and inherent ability to tap in to their burgeoning fanbase, causing a zealot-like devotion in their fans, the band’s rise from “kids off the estate” to homegrown hero status has been nothing short of meteoric; a trio of sell-out Sheffield shows in the last 2 years cementing their reputation instantly. With the same cheeky everyman charm as fellow Sheffielders the Arctic Monkeys, before they could afford cocaine, it’s not surprising the band are on a rapid ascent to the top of their game. It’s not just South Yorkshire in which Reytons fever has well and truly taken hold. Having successfully sold out the entirety of their debut tour, it’s clear that word has spread beyond the confines of the Steel City; the band’s infectious brand of indie rock and burgeoning reputation proceeding them wherever they go. And it’s not just on the UK’s stages in which the buzz is getting louder, however. Having notched up over half a million Spotify streams across their three EPs, Alcopops & Charity Shops (2018), Kids Off The Estate (2017), and It Was All So Monotonous (2017), the band’s prolific run of releases shows no sign of slowing down, as forthcoming single ‘Wide Eyes and Halos’ picks up where last year’s ‘Canine’ left off, its clattering drums and careering guitars slotting in effortlessly within the Reytons’ canon. Armed with little more than an array of heavy-hitting singles and their own integrity, The Reytons are very much a band on the cusp of a breakthrough. A mouthpiece for the disenfranchised as uncompromising as they are uplifting, it seems that for lads from South Yorkshire are putting Sheffield back on the UK’s musical map. 14+, 14 and 15 year old's MUST be accompanied by an adult .

His songwriting has long garnered praise for its poignant clarity, jagged-edged wit and intimately emotive melodies. The band’s career spans ten studio albums, including First Two Pages of Frankenstein and Laugh Track, both issued in 2023. Late 2024 saw the release of The National’s first proper live album, Rome. Together with his wife Carin Besser, Berninger produced the band’s 2013 feature-length documentary Mistaken for Strangers, directed by Matt’s brother Tom. Outside of The National, Berninger formed EL VY with Brent Knopf (Menomena) in 2014. The duo released their debut album Return to the Moon the following year. Berninger’s “gorgeous” (Rolling Stone) solo debut, Serpentine Prison, came out in 2020, produced by the legendary Booker T. Jones. His second solo effort, Get Sunk, is due to be released in May 2025. Berninger is also a visual artist, and spent a decade as a creative director in New York City. There’s a fluidity between his work as a painter/sculptor and lyricist/vocalist: he paints on white boards of song titles and lyrics while working in the studio, and he created a massive canvas of a pink rabbit before he ever wrote the National song of the same name. Berninger's latest medium is baseballs, on which he pens lyrics and poems across their white leather and red stitching. His songwriting is deeply rooted in his artmaking, as both lean toward fragmentary, collage-like curiosity. There is a porous boundary between artist, poet, lyricist and singer, and all contribute to Berninger’s creative wanderings. Booking fees include a £2.25 venue restoration levy per ticket. The Backseat Lovers

The Backseat Lovers

26 Jun 2025 - 2 Jul 2025

The Backseat Lovers is a young indie rock band from Heber City and Sandy, UT. The band started when Josh, having heard of local drummer Juice Welch, introduced himself and asked if he wanted to start a band. They immediately started working on arrangements for some of Josh's songs. Later Josh met lead guitarist and vocalist Jonas Swanson while waiting in line for an open mic at the Velour in Provo city. Neither of them got on the list to play that night, so they sat on a park bench outside the venue and played their songs to each other until they ran out of stuff to play. Josh invited Jonas to come down and play with him and Juice. It was that night that Out of Tune, a song Josh had been holding onto since he was 16, came to life when they arranged it as a group.
In spring of 2018 the band began recording together. They released their self produced EP Elevator Days on June 3, 2018 and played their first show a few short weeks after.
They released their first full length LP, When We Were Friends on January 27th, 2019.

2 Oct 2025 - 29 Nov 2025

Following on from the release of their highly-praised 2017 full-length "Broken Glances", The Pigeon Detectives have now announced plans for their long-awaited sixth studio album "TV Show". Produced by the renowned Rich Turvey (Blossoms, The Coral, Oscar Lang), "TV Show" looks to cement a rebirth within the band's own legacy. After storming the stage at countless festivals in the summer of 2022, The Pigeon Detectives quickly became one of the more talked about names on the circuit once again, feeding the public's need for anthemic indie-rock tunes after years of isolation and social distancing. Speaking about the new album, they said, "Making music together for all these years has been the greatest gift of our lives. This album gives a nod to every step we have taken on the amazing journey we have been on as five scruffy friends from Rothwell, whilst also driving our sound to new, exciting areas. Above all though it is full of absolute bangers and we just can't wait for everyone to hear it!"

Niamh Jobson Research Fund Launch

Niamh Jobson Research Fund Launch

28 Jun 2025 - 28 Jun 2025

A powerful new initiative the Niamh Jobson Research Fund will officially launch on Saturday 28 June at Glasgows SWG3, marking the beginning of a mission to support vital research into osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer that primarily affects young people. The fund has been created in memory of much-loved Glasgow DJ, producer, and sound engineer Niamh Jobson, who died in January 2025, just five days before her 23rd birthday, after living with the disease for seven years. Established as a dedicated Osteosarcoma Fund within the Bone Cancer Research Trust, the funds sole purpose is to help drive progress in treatment options that have remained largely unchanged for over 50 years - and to create a better future for others diagnosed with this devastating illness. A powerful voice within Scotlands underground electronic music scene, Niamh was known for her articulate and emotionally rich approach to techno. Despite enduring multiple rounds of intense chemotherapy and the eventual loss of her left leg, she remained dedicated to her craft performing, producing, and co-hosting the acclaimed Dub Series radio show with close friend and fellow DJ Kairogen. The launch party at SWG3 will run from 2pm8pm across the venues Warehouse and Garden Terrace, featuring sets from Kairogen, Danny Greenman, Timescape, VXYX, Harry Mawby and LAZLO a line-up of artists who played with Niamh, knew her well, and were inspired by her sound and spirit. Born in Hong Kong, Niamh spent part of her childhood on the Isle of Eigg before moving to Glasgow and becoming immersed in the citys club culture. She first cut her teeth at the revered Sub Club, later making her debut at Subculture and performing solo and back-to-back at Slams Return to Mono residency. Her deep understanding of the genre, blending machine-driven minimalism with dubby, dreamlike textures marked her out as an artist wise beyond her years. Niamhs friends, family, and collaborators continue to feel her loss every day. Through this fund, they hope to transform that loss into lasting impact - honouring her strength, insight, and selfless belief that her experience might one day help spare others. Speaking on the launch of the fund, Niamhs brother Finn Jobson reflected on her legacy and the drive behind the initiative:I will never get over the loss of my best friend. Watching her suffer from this heinous disease, while powering through with her impressive and promising career cut far too short by osteosarcoma. Creating this fund and launching it in a very Niamh manner, we will be able to assist her dream of helping kids in this position get another chance at life, while also pushing her unique underground club techno sound to the people of Glasgow. She was my partner in crime and we will carry on living like Niamh.
