Count Binface announces one-night only show at the Fringe
Fresh from receiving almost 10,000 votes at the Clacton by-election, the world-famous intergalactic politician will perform at Pleasance on Wednesday 26 August
Count Binface, the comedy political candidate who wears a bin on his head, has announced a one-off show at Pleasance on Wednesday 26 August, dubbed Count Binface: Face Of The Establishment. Tickets are on sale now.
The satirical intergalactic wannabe politician gained headlines across the globe this year after being the only viable competition to stand against Nigel Farage in the Clacton-On-Sea by-election. Though he conceded defeat to Farage, he still managed to win 9455 votes. The show promises ‘his unique take on Britain, his special brand of sci-fi satire and, of course, his unbeatable manifesto.’
A few of Binface's trademark policies include nationalising Adele, imposing a windfall tax on cosy crime novels, and moving the hand-dryer in the gents toilet of the Great Himalayas restaurant in Southport.
After taking on Theresa May in the 2017 general election while disguised as Lord Buckethead, and challenging Boris Johnson in 2019, he ran for Mayor of London in 2021, receiving 92,896 votes and finishing in ninth place. He returned to the mayoral race in 2024, winning 24,260 votes, and earning the endorsement of a national newspaper and beating Britain First.
