Bad Manners

Bad Manners

22 May 2025 - 30 Jan 2026

Fronted by Buster Bloodvessel (born Douglas Trendle), the band was formed in 1976 while the members were at school together, and among their early incarnations were known as Stoop Solo and the Sheet Starchers. None of the members had any formal musical training, not even the ability to play any instruments. They were popular during the late 1970s and early 1980s, a period when lots of similar ska bands filled the charts. Some of their hits include 'My Girl Lollipop', 'Lip Up Fatty', 'Special Brew' and 'Ne-Ne-Na-Na-Na-Na-Nu-Nu'. One of the main reasons for their notoriety was because of their outlandish, larger-than-life, huge-tongued & shaven-headed front man. Buster´s exploits got them banned from the British TV chart show Top of the Pops (which included dressing as Henry VIII and singing to a blow-up doll for the song 'Lorraine', pouring a large can of baked beans over his head, and dressing in a can-can dancer´s dress to promote their single 'Can-Can').

Coming straight out of Newport The GLC are officially Britain’s biggest rap group. Known for classics like “Guns don’t kill people rappers do”, The GLC started almost by accident around the turn of the century with Eggsy’s impromptu rap about his tracksuit over a serious piece of music Rhys was working on in the studio. Adam Hussain, Billy Webb, Mystkal, the Maggot, 2hats and Mike Balls convinced Rhys to record the rap. Fuelled by Lambrini, fags, Chicken Tikka Massala and weed they all took to the mic and The GLC’s first album “Don’t Blame the Chain” was born. And so it began, the journey which has so far seen The GLC rise to the top of the charts, perform around the world and at every major festival in the Western Hemisphere and make millions of people laugh along the way. Now many years since that first rap about Eggsy’s tracksuit, the boys are still keeping it real in the rap game and hold the title of the most successful UK rap act ever. To date The GLC have released 18 albums… and amazingly none of them have died yet. You knows it! GLC (Live) plus special guests

Peat & Diesel

Peat & Diesel

19 Jul 2025 - 25 Oct 2025

The story began when three Stornoway Cove's (Innes, Uilly and Boydie) met up in the house to have the craic on a Saturday night playing music with just the dog and the cat watching. After a few tunes getting thrown across the room Boydie stated muttering a few sentences. As he is a man of few words no attention was really given to him until he shouted 'Quick, line me out!' Not a second to spare a set of old broken headphones were cable tied to a guitar amp and out came a few cobwebs followed shortly after with a sound nobody had ever heard before. What came next was five gallons of lyrics, verse after verse, song after song Peat & Diesel was born! The songs won't make much sense to the average person, but the person behind the lyrics isn't your average man so if you have a listen and you can relate to it you are a special breed! Peat & Diesel Light my Byre takes you on a journey to the heart of the Western Isles, where #peatlemania was born. You might have time for a brandy in the 'Airidh' but don't miss your ride in Calum Dan's Transit Van, we ain't stopping till we lose the water!

Perhaps, on the streets and the messageboards, youve heard rumors and mutterings about the death of rock. Maybe youve read a critical essay about it in an academic journal. The Hard Quartet, through its very existence and onward via its dedication to electrified reels, hymns, paeans, and rave-ups, is mathematical, empirical proof that human beings slashing at strings, pounding at skins, and opening their mouths to intone tuneful, mythic messages is here to stay. Mclusky

Mclusky

23 May 2025 - 31 May 2025

Mclusky (often stylized as mclusky), originally known as Best, were a three-piece post-hardcore group formed in Cardiff, Wales. The group consisted of Englishman Andrew "Falco" Falkous (vocals, guitar) from Newcastle Upon Tyne, Jonathan Chapple (bass, vocals) and Jack Egglestone (drums), who replaced previous drummer Matthew Harding in late 2003. According to the band, they originally formed in 1996 when Falkous and Harding met at the Blackwood Miners Institute, a venue in their home town. The pair met Chapple a short time afterwards at the Reading Festival when they caught him urinating on their tent late in the night. More realistically it has been suggested that Falkous and Harding met when working together at Anglian Windows, a small double-glazing call centre in Cardiff. They discussed their musical ambitions after a conversation about Reading Festival, Falkous gave Harding a tape of songs he had written on his own, and shortly after they formed a band called Best after early Beatles drummer Pete Best. The original bass player for Best was Geraint Bevan, Harding's old musical comrade from The Derelicts. Best existed in this form for almost a year before Bevan left to concentrate on his acting career, but not before Best had played a show with a band called 'Myrtle', which featured the bass guitarist Jon Chapple. Shortly after the departure of Bevan, the remaining two members managed to convince Chapple to join the band; this was based on the strength of the three track demo Best had recently finished at 'Ocean Studios' in Cardiff (this cassette which was sold by the band themselves was the unofficial debut, entitled the Benedict EP). Best signed to London label Seriously Groovy and released their official debut record, the 3-track single "Huwuno". The band changed its name to Mclusky in 1999, releasing their first full-length album My Pain and Sadness is More Sad and Painful Than Yours in 2000 on the Fuzzbox imprint before drawing international attention with their critically praised second album Mclusky Do Dallas in 2002. In 2004 they released their third album The Difference Between Me and You Is That I'm Not on Fire to positive reviews. They worked frequently with recording engineer Steve Albini.
Destroyer

Destroyer

10 Jun 2025 - 12 Jun 2025

Of his 12th studio album and its enigmatic title, Destroyer's Dan Bejar offers the following: Sometime last year, I discovered that the original name for The Wild Ones (one of the great English-language ballads of the last 100 years or so) was Ken. I had an epiphany, I was physically struck by this information. In an attempt to hold on to this feeling, I decided to lift the original title of that song and use it for my own purposes. It's unclear to me what that purpose is, or what the connection is. I was not thinking about Suede when making this record. I was thinking about the last few years of the Thatcher era. Those were the years when music first really came at me like a sickness, I had it bad. Maybe The Wild Ones speaks to that feeling, probably why Suede made no sense in America. I think ken also means to know. ken was produced by Josh Wells of Black Mountain, who has been the drummer in Destroyer since 2012. The album was recorded in its entirety in the jam space/studio space that the group calls The Balloon Factory. However, unlike Poison Season, ken was not recorded as a band record, though everyone in the band does make an appearance. ken will also be available as a Deluxe LP: Pressed on opaque yellow vinyl and includes a bonus 7-inch single on black vinyl that contains solo acoustic versions of the album tracks A Light Travels Down the Catwalk and Stay Lost. Includes lyric insert.

Dubioza Kolektiv

4 Oct 2025 - 15 Oct 2025

Once upon a time (2003) in a faraway land called Bosnia and Herzegovina, a group of friends decided to form a band. But this was no ordinary band, and they did not form under ordinary circumstances. True, along with local Balkan flavours, musical influences came from all over the world: ska, punk, reggae, electronic, hip-hop. Yet, there was no music industry, few concerts, no space for cultural or political expression among the new crop of plugged in youth. In fact, the entire region was reeling from deep moral and economic stagnation. If you're looking for macho, money-and-ego driven posturing, you won't find it here; no MTV rude boy gangstas, no strippers or bling, no corporate endorsements from the international fashion industry. Rather, they take on traditional musical forms with their unique perspective, shaped by a war that changed their lives forever, and delivered with a level of positivity that hits you like a blast of fresh air.

Y&T

Y&T

15 Oct 2025 - 25 Oct 2025

Before Mötley Crüe, before RATT, even before there was a Metallica, Y&T was slogging away in sweaty rock clubs around America. When the band formed in the early 1970s, little did they know they would set the standard for hard rock bands that trailed. Many of the biggest acts of the '80s became popular opening for headliners Y&Tand cut their teeth on the band, as evidenced by the Y&T mentions in tell-all books by acts such as Metallica and Mötley Crüe. Born in Oakland, California, Y&T is one of the San Francisco Bay Area's own innovators of the hard rock sound. Whether performing to a festival crowd of fifty-thousand or in an intimate nightclub, Y&T's high- energy set and passionate performances still captivate legions of fans around the globe, proving Y&T's music timeless. Originally formed as Yesterday and Today, the initial powerhouse quartetfeaturing Dave Meniketti (lead guitar/lead vocals), Phil Kennemore (bass), Leonard Haze (drums), and Joey Alves (rhythm guitar) tore through the '70s and '80s with their own brand of hard rock. After two '70s albums on London Records, they shortened their name to Y&T and released eight albums on A&M in the '80s. Two more albums with Geffen Records marked an era of change with Jimmy DeGrasso (Alice Cooper, Suicidal Tendencies, Megadeth) on drums and Stef Burns (Alice Cooper, Berlin, Huey Lewis) on guitar. With a discography of 18 albums, four greatest hits collections, plus a box set, Y&T have sold over four million albums since their 1974 inception. The band's most recent single "I'm Coming Home" has climbed to roughly 1.5 million views on YouTube. Y&T received extensive airplay with hits such as Forever, Rescue Me, Mean Streak, Don't Stop Runnin', and Summertime Girlswhich played in heavy rotation on MTV. Y&T songs have been featured in a multitude of movies and television shows, including Real Genius, Out of Bounds, Baywatch, and Hunter. After five top 100 albums, songs that tipped into the 40s, two Bammie Awards, and many international television appearances, Y&T's hits are still played on VH1 Classic and Classic Rock radio stations worldwide. With Kennemore's untimely passing from lung cancer, the band carries on the legacy that is Y&T. Y&T continues to tour the world, featuring the dynamic original frontman Dave Meniketti (guitar/lead vocals), John Nymann (guitar/vocals), Brad Lang (bass/vocals), and Mike Vanderhule (drums/vocals), playing songs that span the band's five-decade career and including all the hits and fan favorites. Prepare to have your face melted.

Spiderbait

Spiderbait

21 Jul 2025 - 24 Jul 2025

The story of Spiderbait is so fantastical it could only be based in truth: three friends from a small country town taking on the Australian music scene on their own terms and emerging triumphant 25 years later, the friendships unscathed but their band one of the biggest and best on the national scene. As brash and confident as they are strange and uncompromising, the three founding members of Spiderbait - Janet, Whitt and Kram - started humbly in the rural NSW township of Finley, the fervent music lovers taking inspiration from everything from Slayer to The Bangles and meshing into one intoxicating and unique brew. Racking up pretty much every accolade there is to achieve on the Australian scene, having taken home numerous ARIA Awards, chalked up a number one single (their 2004 cover of Leadbelly’s Black Betty - Edit) and even topped the prestigious triple j Hottest 100 (for Buy Me A Pony, 1996). Their distinctive music and cheeky arrangements make Spiderbait difficult to pigeonhole, the rock’n’roll royals’ unique stylings allowing them to share stadiums with everyone from the Beastie Boys to Cold Chisel and totally dominate. There’s no resting on their laurels for the hard-working three-piece. With plenty more chapters to write in the Spiderbait story, it’s impossible to know what exactly will happen next, but you know it will be achieved by three great mates and soundtracked by music that’s catchy & uncompromising. 432 Presents...
